There are a few things that I just love to photograph. One of them is maternity sessions. There is something magical about capturing the stages of pregnancy. I really love documenting this special time in a family's life. Some couples are at a huge milestone where they are becoming parents for the first time and others maybe having their last child. Either way, both are just as joyous! I really enjoy planning these sessions and creating something unique for each particular session. I talk with Mom and Dad to get an idea of what they like. That way we can include a good variety of fun and creative ideas. With Valeri's session we did a few creative things that I was very happy with. By her being a very artsy and creative person herself, I sent her the location and a few looks I had in mind and she said she knew exactly what to wear! What moms wear on a maternity session is extremely important, because it's all about the baby. So we really want to sale the whole baby bump! I told her I'm a sucker for flower crowns and she made one for our session! I think we did an awesome job with this session. Valeri really nailed it and the pictures came out amazing.
